At the Virginia Baptist Historical Society’s headquarters on the campus of the University of Richmond there is a Heritage Gallery which features the 36-panel mural of Virginia Baptist history by Sidney E. King.  This book includes the paintings by King which trace the history of Baptists in Virginia from the time of their beginnings through the era of religious persecution and the quest for religious liberty and into the missions saga. Also included are other illustrations from the collection.  Fred Anderson, executive director of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society, has written the narrative behind each of the stories.  260 pp with color illustrations
